This research project was presented at the Summer Research Showcase.
What I did
During this project, I collected samples of water for isotopic and trace element analysis. Very hands on in sample and excess data collection, I got to use equipment and online programs that id use in my field later on. Now, we are on to analysis and creating a paper.
What I learned
I learned how to properly collect water samples, environmental data, writing and figure creation, and improve my skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This experience will help in my future because I’ll be able to use it for my career, this project is related close to what I would like to do after graduation. All of this gives me heads start on extra experience for my career.
