For this project me and a team member, Molly Guerin, worked together to pitch a creative promotion campaign for PUMA and their next season's line. This experience helped me understand the process of promoting a large-scale event and its target market, as well as the budgeting aspects that come with it.
Final Project Outcome
Final Semester-Long Project with PUMA.
What I did
I made a promotion pitch for PUMA and focused on one of their RBU's "SELECT". The first part of the promotion consisted of having Rosé, A$AP Rocky and One Piece characters drawn manga style in a commercial and a song made by the artists advertising PUMA's Speedcats, Mostros and new upcoming line. The second part is an event where people can buy all these products and meet Rosé, A$AP Rocky and One Piece creators. Throughout the assignment I learned about getting a target costumer for an event, making muck-ups, coming up with an event from zero, tracking an event's success in dollars, making time, action calendars and budgeting.
What I learned
I learned how to efficiently work and communicate with a team, keep a steady pace while still meeting deadlines and doing a lot of research to get budgeting prices right. This project helped me with using my creative mind and always aiming for high standards as well as gaining a deeper understanding on how to successfully promote a product. I plan on using this experience to always bring fresh and creative ideas to my future fashion related job.
