Interned at Game Changing Style, a resource committed to transforming brands through the intersection of fashion and gaming by Tracy Greenan and co-founded with Fija Dahlia. I contributed to research and content creation that support data-driven insights, aimed at enhancing brand awareness and accelerating value in this dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.
Final Project Outcome
One piece I designed was an Arcane x League of Legends redesign post, which examined the shift in visual storytelling from a female gaze to a male gaze. The piece highlighted the evolving portrayal of female characters within the series, drawing attention to how narrative and design choices reflect changing perspectives in gender representation.
What I did
I worked as a Digital Media & Content Intern, contributing to the company’s mission of bridging fashion and gaming. I created and published original content for Instagram and LinkedIn, ensuring alignment with the brand’s voice and strategic goals. My work included the development of posts for key projects such as the "Arcane x League of Legends Redesign", "Skins that Sing: Sabrina Carpenter’s Fortnite Festival Style," and Star Wars , "May the 4th Be With Your Wardrobe." As well I created a new podcast visual to drive engagement, helping the team amplify its presence in the evolving virtual fashion space.
What I learned
I learned how to research efficiently, keep pace with the rapidly evolving gaming and fashion news cycle, edit video content, and design visually engaging posts that resonate with target audiences. Most importantly, I gained a deeper understanding of how fashion has evolved digitally with it's focus shifting into virtual spaces, in-game wearables, and avatar expression and how this transformation is shaping the future of branding and fashion culture.
