About me
I am Mikayla DeVito, and I am a junior here at SUNY Oneonta. This will be my third year as an Empire State Service Corps member. My major is psychology, and I have a minor in educational psychology. I would like to become a school counselor in the future. I am an EMS Lieutenant at the Yaphank Fire Department. I've been a volunteer EMT there for 3 years now.
Why I serve
I saw a flyer about this program, and I thought it would be very beneficial for my future, so I applied. Being able to work in a school while doing college has granted me so much experience and taught me what it will be like in the real world.
