About me

Hi, I’m Katelyn Prentice! I am a first-year student at SUNY Oneonta and I am exploring Political Science as a possible major. I grew up in rural upstate New York and my many passions include reading about American History, political theories and listening to debates. I want to explore where my aspirations can take me.

Why I serve

Coming into college, I knew I wanted to explore my love for dialogue and open discussion while also pursuing my passion for Political Science. When I was learning about the Empire State Service Corps program, I was excited to see that it would allow me to do exactly that while getting involved on campus and in the community.
