About me

Hello, I’m Val. This is my 3rd year in Oneonta and I’m currently studying Psychology with a minor in Educational Psychology and Educational Studies. I’m currently the president of ONEY Badminton and public relations for ONEONTA E-SPORTS.

Why I serve

I want to be more involved in the SUNY Oneonta community and build my experience since I want to be a school counselor for my school back at home in Brooklyn or work for SUNY Oneonta. I also want to give students a place where they can call home far away from home. I hope Empire State Service Corps helps me create that environment for students.

Fun Fact

I have a cat on campus named Sofi! She goes on walks with her pink stroller and is really vocal.
