About me

Hi, my name is Kristanna Samascott. I am on the Women's Track and Field Team for SUNY Oneonta. I am currently majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Communications. I love spending time with my friends and family and trying new things. I also love animals.

Why I serve

What inspired me to join the Empire State Service Corps program is that it leaves such a positive mark on the people and the community. I want people to be able to come to me for advice or help with anything they need without feeling any judgment. I want people to know that I can be a safe space for them.

Fun Fact

Something fun that I like to do now and then, when I can, is riding snowmobiles and quads. I also enjoy going on late-night walks and reading a book on the beach.
