About me

My name is Ashley Hernandez. I am a majoring in Psychology and minoring in Communication Studies at SUNY Oneonta as a First-Generation student. I am involved in few activities at SUNY Oneonta, I am a Tour Guide for the Office of Admissions & Enrollment. I am an Admissions Assistant for the Office of Admissions & Enrollment. And I am Secretary of the Mexican Student Association.

Why I serve

What inspired me to apply to join the Empire State Service Corps was I wanted to get more involved around campus, more involved in guiding/helping others and I really wanted to have a chance to experience something new!

Fun Fact

A fun thing I’d like to share is I have a cat and her name is Cookies!
