About me
I am a senior Early Childhood/Childhood Education major with a concentration in Liberal Arts. I transferred to SUNY Oneonta in 2025 from Long Island, NY. I have worked at a summer camp for the past five years, working with children in grades K–6. I am the second oldest of four siblings, which has given me plenty of experience being around and working with kids! In my free time, I love doing crafts, watching movies, going to the beach, spending time with friends and family, and playing board games.
Why I serve
I was inspired to apply to the Empire State Service Corps because I wanted to get more involved in the Oneonta community and do something meaningful with my time here. I have always enjoyed helping people and working with kids, especially through my experience at summer camp, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to continue doing that in a different way. I also wanted to meet new people, try something new, and learn more about the community outside of SUNY Oneonta.
