About me

My name is Keira, and I'm a sophomore here at SUNY Oneonta! I am majoring in Anthropology, and minoring in Computer Science. I am from the Albany area, and am always looking to see new places and try new things, so being in Oneonta has been a really fun experience so far. I love being creative, learning new languages, listening to music, and spending time with my pets. I am really excited to serve with the Empire State Service Corps this year!

Why I serve

I was inspired to join the ESSC when I was told about the work they do. I have always wanted to make a difference with my time and this was the next possible step! The work I did volunteering throughout high school really developed my love for connecting with my community and volunteering my time to make positive changes.

Fun Fact

I have a pet fish!! He has shrimp friends that live in his tank with him too.
