About me
I try to be active on campus through the various clubs I join. I am currently part of a variety of clubs. My favorites among them are KnitWits and Fencing. I am the Vice President of KnitWits and have been involved in the club since my freshman year. Fencing is the most recent club I joined and it is a great way to be with friends and learn a fun and interesting sport. I also try to better myself through different opportunities on campus. For example, I have taken on tutoring in the Math Tutoring center to better prepare myself for my future career as a high school math teacher.
Why I serve
I was inspired to join by one of my friends. She was in the program last year and was placed in a second-grade classroom. She always came back to campus talking about how amazing these kids were and that she loved doing this.
