Currently this year, I am serving as the Chief of Staff of the Student Association, and the manager of our on campus Thrift Shop through the Sustainability Office. During my sophomore year, I achieved Platinum Level LEAD. Also, since freshman year I have been an active member in Alpha Phi Omega, an organization that values service, friendship, and leadership.
Why I serve
Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed helping others and supporting the communities I am a part of. Community service has always been important to me, because I believe that even the smallest actions can create a positive impact and contribute to a better future. I serve because I want to give back to communities that have supported me and helped me grow. Through service, there are more opportunities for me to make a difference in the lives of others while also learning, building meaningful relationships, and developing professional skills I need for my future career. To me, community service is not just about helping others, but it's about creating stronger and more inclusive community where everyone has the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
