About me

My name is Lucas Berg and I'm a senior media studies major from Nyack, NY. I'm looking to pursue a career in digital journalism within the sports industry. On top of this, I'm an avid distance runner who competes for the Cross Country and Track and Field teams.

Why I serve

After taking Advanced Audio Production with Dr. Bottomley last semester, I thought this would be the perfect way to continue to pursue my journalistic interests. I feel that the ESSC Program offers me the opportunity to explore my passion in a more professional and formal setting. I'll be able to receive hands-on experience by learning from peers and advisors.

Fun Fact

I'm a current member of the SUNY Oneonta Cross Country and Track and Field teams. I spent this past summer in Park City, Utah at 7,000 feet above sea level training for the upcoming season!
