About me
I’m a biology pre-med student at SUNY Oneonta, a U.S. Army National Guard soldier, Resident Advsior, and campus leader. I’m passionate about medicine, culture, creativity, service, and building meaningful connections within my community. I love taking on new experiences that challenge me, whether through academics, leadership, or simply discovering more about myself. Ultimately, I hope to turn all of these experiences into a life centered around purpose and impact!
Why I serve
I was inspired to join the Empire State Service Corps because it gives me the opportunity to combine two parts of my life that mean a great deal to me: military service and supporting my campus community. As a member of the U.S. Army National Guard and a college student, I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate both military and academic responsibilities. Serving in military outreach allows me to use my own experiences to help student veterans, service members, and military-connected students feel seen, supported, and connected to the resources available to them. I’m especially excited to help strengthen the bridge between the military and campus communities while creating a space where military-connected students know they belong and have someone willing to advocate for them.
