About me

Hey there! My name is Zach McMahon, and I am majoring in History at the moment with the aim to be a Childhood Education teacher. I am from a little town called Clifton Park which lies in between Albany and Saratoga Springs. Here at SUNY Oneonta I am a part of the Geography Club which I restarted last year! I am so very excited to build community with the students around me!

Why I serve

I was inspired to join the ESSC program because I have always been interested in helping my community, back home I used to help clean up around my community and loved involving myself in the events around me. Now that I have the chance to do that here I am so excited to meet the community of Oneonta and help the students here learn about how much of an impact they can have on their surrounding county both here and back home and how that can overall impact our state and even country!

Fun Fact

I enjoy reading and hanging out with my peers in my free time!
